OPINION!! Olamide Should Sign Dagrin’s Younger Brother “TROD” If Truely He Love & Respect Dagrin (See Why)

Couple of hours ago, a colleague made a post about late Dagrin’s younger brother TROD.

On the article, he asked; “Four Years Later, Where Is Dagrin’s Brother, TROD?”

MY OPINION:
TROD’s rap career is literally dead for now, but it could be revive back by only one person (Olamide).

Oh yes, if anyone should help Dagrin’s brother in the music industry, that’d be Olamide. He’s in the best position to do so because in my opinion late Dagrin paved the way for him and other indigenous Yoruba rappers.

They should help his younger brother in return if they truely love, care and respect Barrack O Grin like they always say on social media. The young man is lyrically dope, just like his elder brother.

I could remember sometime in January 2020, TROD was pleading with Olamide to pick up his calls.

Also, on the notion that Olamide has taken over his brother’s rap style, Trod responded,

“Olamide is my best rapper and I love him so much. I have also learnt a lot of things from him and I hope to feature him soon.

I don’t hold anything against him. I don’t think Olamide copied Dagrin’s style; their music only sounds similar. We’re all in the game and every one is doing their thing.”

Da Grin was one of the pioneers of dialect rap singers of Yoruba language and Pidgin in Nigeria. Da Grin was a rapper who revolutionised the Nigerian rap industry, he infused English with his native dialect.

Unfortunately, died at the age of 25 on 22 April 2010 after a vehicle accident in Lagos, Nigeria.

Olamide Should Sign Dagrin’s Younger Brother “TROD” If Truely He Love & Respect Dagrin -DO YOU AGREE?

Let’s hear from you all.
